Hello, friends!
Welcome to my readable road trip…. which isn’t quite planned out yet. I’ve got the idea, the excitement and the requisite road snacks (any excuse for a big ol’ bag of Twizzlers, amirite?), but I need your help to plot out my route. I’d rather read things on this trip that real-live people love. Even if I don’t know you face-to-face (but especially if I do), I want to spend time in the literary worlds that you, my fellow readers, deem great. I think it’s going to make for a much more interesting map at the end of the day.
So let me know what written works have stuck with you. What short story in the bayous of Louisiana, what romance novel amidst the white-washed porches of the Outer Banks, what adventure story at the base of the Grand Canyon, are unmissable stops on this great American tour?
Don’t hesitate to suggest the “classics,” either. My reading repertoire is woefully deficient in that area. *Goes and subtly jots down Grapes of Wrath hoping nobody notices.*
Just go to Suggest a Book and let me know!
